The Akron Care Center, Inc. is a 45 bed, city-owned, not-for-profit Intermediate and Skilled Care facility. Its mission is to provide a homelike envirnment for persons where their health may be maintained or enhanced through daily activities, physical therapy, nursing care, socialization and good nutrition. The Care Center is geared to serve people in need with quality, loving care. Due to our small size we are able to offer personalized attention to each and every resident. The facility employs a high percentage of registered nurses, and also uses certified LPNs, med aides, and nursing assistants to provide quality care. | |
